An MPA EXCLUSIVE  photo tour opportunity unlike anything you could have imagined.
A truly THRILLING and EXHILARATING photography experience like no other that you can’t get anywhere else!

Picture yourself suspended in the infinite blue, your camera poised as some of the world’s most elite aerial performers dance through the sky behind you. This isn’t a dream — it’s our March 2025 air-to-air photography expedition, and it’s about to transcend every expectation.

Our first aerial photography venture left participants speechless. Check out this video overview if you haven’t seen it yet.

Air to Air Video

But what’s coming next? It’s about to get wild. This is going to a whole other level!

Word of our groundbreaking aerial photography mission spread like wildfire through the aviation community. Now, perfectly timed with Tucson’s legendary biennial airshow, “Thunder and Lightning over Arizona” the industry’s top performers are literally lining up to fly with us. We’re talking about the absolute masters of the sky, pilots who push the boundaries of what’s possible in an aircraft.

These are the performers that have confirmed with us to photograph and it is a list that is astounding.

Brad Wursten Airshows (Extra 500)

Mini Jet Airshows

Vicky Benzing – P-51 Mustang “Plum Crazy”

Fear Boss Airshows – Pitts Bi Plane  (We photographer Jon last time but this time, get ready for smoke and snap rolls! )

These are performers yet to sign contracts with the airshow, but have committed to flying for us once they have!

Red Thunder Airshows – 2 Yak 50 duo)

Ed Hamill Airshows – Pitts Biplane “Folds of Honor”

And it doesn’t stop there! We are in the works for even more surprises! This truly is a VERY LIMITED and EXCLUSIVE opportunity we have!

Imagine capturing heart-stopping aerobatics from your own aerial platform — snap rolls that slice through the air, billowing smoke trails painting the sky, and formation flying that defies belief. These aren’t just planes; they’re the world’s most sophisticated aerial performance machines, piloted by artists who write their signatures across the heavens.

Mark your calendars for March 19-23, 2025. Thursday will be our exclusive air-to-air photography flight, while Friday and Saturday will immerse you in the electric atmosphere of the airshow itself, complete with static displays opportunities , VIP entry and seating and more!

Fair warning: Mother Nature plays by her own rules, and in aviation, safety reigns supreme. We’ll need to stay flexible as weather, aircraft availability, and other variables come into play. But here’s our promise: You’re about to experience something that exists nowhere else on Earth.

Claim your spot in aviation photography history. We can only take 8 people maximum. Our last offering sold out in 3 minutes  with 11 and we fully expect the same this time around. This is an opportunity that truly is an exclusive and limited offering! We have limited to 8 people this time so NO ONE has to take turns photographing during the air 2 air session!

FAQ's

Q – What type of aircraft will we be photographing?
A -The aerial team is working extremely hard to gather a mixed variety of aircraft from the General Aviation, Vintage, Warbird and Jet communities! Due to many possible situations with aircraft, we cannot guarantee any specific aircraft.  There will certainly be something for everyone. This will include both static and air to air opportunities.  Currently, the list we have secured above is TOP NOTCH!

Q – How do we photograph “Air to Air”?
A – We will be utilizing a highly trained team of professionals . This includes, pilots, safety observer, and a person communicating direct with each pilot for positioning behind our aircraft we will be utilizing.

Each photographer will be tethered by a safety harness and we are positioned in a staggered staging area. The back of the plane has an open ramp that will come down, each plane will come in and be positioned for us to photograph.  Simply thrilling!!

Q – What type of physical requirements are needed?
A – First and foremost, a sense of adventure!  Other than that, you will need to be able to walk up a plane ramp, and then be able to move to a sitting position on the aircraft flooring for shooting. We will be in tight formation together as a group. This is not a strenuous photo tour physically.

Q – How many air to air sessions are included?
A – There is one extended session planned. We will be in the air several hours photographing various planes in an orchestrated dance in the sky! The non air2air day will be filled with many other photographic opportunities and learning including VIP at the airshow.

Q – What camera gear will I need?
A – For air2air shooting generally, a DSLR or mirrorless camera body, lenses may vary, but participants will not need anything longer than 200mm. “I generally shoot between
50-150mm. My go to lens is 24-120mm/F4 and that covers pretty much everything I need when shooting. Because we have limited space inside the aircraft, I would suggest one body, one lens and plenty of memory cards. Of course, static shooting and shooting with re-enactors will require additional lenses an d tripod for evening sessions” – David L
