Morocco – An Exotic Journey
Only spaces remaining!
Description
Embarking on a photography tour of Morocco is like stepping into a living canvas, where every corner offers a vibrant story waiting to be captured. From the winding, sun-baked streets of Marrakech’s bustling souks to the serene beauty of the Sahara Desert, this journey invites you to freeze moments of culture, history, and natural splendor through your lens.
The striking contrasts of Morocco’s landscapes, where the rich colors of ancient architecture meet the endless golden dunes, or the incredible Atlas mountains along with villages along the way, make it a photographer’s dream.
We just returned from our scouting trip to this ancient land, and I have to admit: the place took us by surprise. The landscapes alone are wild and varied, but it’s the warmth of the people everywhere that really sticks with you.
This is no ordinary tour. Yes, we’ll see the big names, Casa Blanca, the markets and streets of Marrakesh, that blue-washed wonderland called Chefchaouen. But the real magic happens when we leave the busy routes behind. We’ll wind through the Atlas Mountains, drop into tucked-away villages, and meet locals who welcome you like an old friend. It’s a side of Morocco most travelers never get to see.
Of course, a visit to the stunning sand dunes and the nomadic Berber and Tuareg people is not to be missed and has been added to thsi tour. We will spend two nights in Erg Chigaga, a large field of towering sand dunes in southeastern Morocco which offers a more remote and authentic desert experience than the more accessible Erg Chebbi, with dunes reaching up to 300 meters high.
Whether you’re an experienced photographer or a passionate beginner, this tour will inspire and challenge you, offering memories that go far beyond the photos themselves.
