All accommodations on this tour have been carefully hand-picked and chosen based on several factors, including a combination of luxury and service, proximity to historical sights, safety, and historical value such as the world-famous Legend Old Cataract Aswan a 5-star luxury hotel in a 19th-century Victorian palace on the banks of the Nile river.

Itinerary

*Itinerary in Detail 

Wed March 6th  – Arrival: 
Depending on your arrival international flight tickets, you will meet our Meet and Greet representative at
Cairo International Airport. (Egypt Entry Visa is Included for American Nationalities).
Transfer to Marriott Mena House, Cairo 5* hotel or similar hotels.

Accommodation- 03 nights based on Bed and Breakfast.
Accommodations: 3 nights – 5 Star-  Marriot Mena House

Experience the wondrous beauty of the Pyramids from Marriott Mena House, Cairo. A frequent stop for dignitaries and celebrities, this historic, 5-star hotel offers travelers a taste of modern luxury. Set at the base of the Pyramids, hotel guests can walk to one of Egypt’s most popular attractions. The Giza resort is near the Sphinx, Cairo University, and the Egyptian Museum.

March 7th- –  Tour of the Giza Pyramids and Sakkara area pyramids
The Giza pyramid complex is an archaeological site on the Giza Plateau, on the outskirts
of Cairo, Egypt. It includes the three Great Pyramids (Khufu/Cheops, Khafre/Chephren and Menkaure/Mykerinos), the Great Sphinx, several cemeteries, a workers’ village and an industrial complex. It is located in the Western
Desert, approximately 9 km (5 mi) west of the Nile river at the old town of Giza.
Lunch at a restaurant (Included)

Get back to the hotel to get some rest then pick up around 06:00 PM for a dinner at one of the Pyramids
Restaurants and enjoy the view of the complex while the sound and light pyramids show is presented. Then
transfer back to the hotel.

Fri March 8th – The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), Breakfast in Hotel, 08:00 AM Pick up time from the hotel
to visit the Grand Egyptian Museum. The Grand Egyptian Museum, also known as the Giza Museum, is an archaeological museum under construction in Giza, Egypt. It will house artifacts of ancient Egypt, including the complete Tutankhamun collection, and is set to be the largest archaeological museum in the world. It is set to open in 2023. 

Lunch at a restaurant (Included)

Get back to the hotel to get some rest, then pick up around 06:00 PM for dinner at one of the Pyramids
Restaurants to enjoy the view of the complex while the sound and light pyramids show is presented. Then transfer back to the hotel.

Sat  March 9th – Flight to Luxor 
This morning we leave Cairo and embark on the next leg of our epic journey. We will take an early morning flight to Luxor. At the airport, we will be greeted by our guide. 

Pick up from Luxor airport, and meet our representative at the Airport.

Transfer to Merit Dahabya(Priave charter for McKay)

Accommodation 04 Nights 
Lunch on board.
After Lunch, visit the Luxor & Karnak Temples joining to an English-speaking guide on board.
Dinner on board.
Overnight on the West bank.

Tour of Karnak Temple and Luxor
Upon our arrival to Luxor, we will be guided to the Temple of Karnak, built over more than a thousand years by generations of Pharaohs. The great “Hypostyle Hall” is an incredible forest of giant pillars, covering an area larger than the whole of Notre Dame Cathedral.

Dahabiya Nile Cruise, Merit One – Embark from Luxor
We spend the next four nights on a journey down the Nile!  This is not just any journey. We will have our PRIVATE ship exclusive to ourselves.

We will have ample time in between our shore excursion to sit and edit images, and enjoy and take in the beautiful Nile! 




Mar 10th- 12th

  • Tour of Valley of The Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Memnon Statues
  • Tour of Edfu Temple, Kom Ombo Temple.
  • Tour of Philae Temple and High Dam of Aswan

The next 3 days will be filled with stops along our Nile Journey with planned stops at the highlights listed above!  These are some of the most iconic locations to visit! At the end of each day, our ship awaits, and we retreat for beautiful meals and time relaxing. 

Mar 13th – 14th  Aswan
As we say goodbye to our ship, we look forward to some time to relax and enjoy our next hotel. The historic Legend Old Cataract Aswan is a 5-star luxury hotel in a 19th-century Victorian palace on the banks of the river Nile. Here we will enjoy two nights where you can choose to rest and relax, work on images, photograph the Nile from vantage points at the hotel, or visit more sites if you so choose. 



March 15th – Aswan to Cairo
All good things must come to an end….or DO THEY? For some, you may want to join us on the extension tour to Jordan to visit sites such as Petra and Wadi Rum.  More details to come! 

As we fly back to Cairo, you can continue to your next destination, whether home or on to Jordan, with the extension we will offer. Based on flights, you can choose another night in Cairo and stay at a hotel close to the airport our partners can help arrange for us. 

Due to flight schedules and changes, we will work with people on what will be best for them as we get closer to the dates, and flights are more readily listed.
