Iceland Photography Tour 2026

September 26th-October 4th, 2026

McKay Photography Academy is returning once again to one of our most popular destinations!

Toby and the McKay Team has  partnered with an exceptional local guide—a lifelong resident, professional photographer, and skilled instructor who knows every corner of Iceland’s landscape. Together, we’ll take you beyond the tourist stops to precise shooting locations, while teaching you to nail exposure and create stunning compositions.

This small group tour will allow for personalized coaching while exploring waterfalls, glaciers, and volcanic landscapes at their most dramatic. September gifts us soft golden light, fewer crowds, and thrilling Northern Lights potential—we have carefully planned the logistics with an emphasis on staying multiple nights in most hotels which means less packing and more shooting.

Our small group size and comfortable Sprinter vans give us the freedom to chase the perfect shot—anytime, anywhere. 2am Northern Lights dash to a waterfall or scenic mountain? Yes!
